This adapter transmits audio into the HDMI cable using an AUX cable. However, the audio quality is not good and a dedicated audio cable is recommended. This adapter also requires power from a USB-A port so ensure there is a free port on your computer.

VGA Connector: The VGA connector plugs into an older computer or laptop and sends the video signal to the adapter. VGA carries video only, so it does not normally send sound.
